Your story:This is a book explaining why becoming a rebel is pointless. What could make you think the combine are not unstoppable they have been enslaving most of the universe. If some of the most powerful aliens (The Vortigaunts) were captured by them what makes you think the humans could escape their grip? Just think, You are a rebel with your small army and weak guns, And imagine that you are a combine soldier, with you massive armada of troops and powerful guns. who do you think would win? Sure the rebels might have had one or two small victories but the Combine enslaved us all in seven hours! In conclusion if you value your life do not join the rebels, They don't have a chance!
