As a child i had a pretty good life. Me and my family lived in an upper middle class neighborhood in Kansas City. My parents never fought while i saw all my friends parents splitting up my folks stuck with it. They were really broken up when i went to college though. I went there to study business. I've always looked up to big CEO's and thought i'd be great at it. After college i found a job working at a small office complex that worked for Black Mesa. I had to start somewhere i guess. Unfortunately I never became a CEO. I had been working my desk job at that complex for about four years when the Combine attacked Earth. They drug me out and shipped me here to City 18 along with the rest of the people working in my building. The Combine must have a little mercy because later i got a letter from my folks. Apparently they're still alive and in City 14. I hope it's nicer than this dump, they deserve it really. So now i just live my life in a rut here. Getting out of bed walking around some, sitting on some stairs, avoiding the Combine as much as possible. I wonder if i'll ever be able to make something of myself here someday.

Joseph Taylor was once proud CEO of Joey Corp, a corperation that invented many revolutionized technologies. However, when the 7 hour war was ended and humanity was enslaved, Joseph was forced to give up his Corp and move to City 8 where he lived with his family. He lived in city 8 for a couple years until a lockdown was initiated, caused by an Anti-Citizen in his area. The CP's charged Joseph of crimes he did not do. He was arrested shortly before getting sent to the train station. He was than transfered to city 18 and lost his family. Joseph now lives in City 18 in despair, regretting that aweful day.

**Just as the 03 tries to tie the citizen he suddenly resists.

Character backstory (6 lines at least detailing you character's background. Events, job, family etc and should reflect your skills): I lived in the outskirts of south-east london with my father. My mother had died when I was born. I worked on a farm with my father, he taught me how to shoot, cook and survive in the wilderness. He taught me basic fighting stances and attacks. We were one day in the fields together planting the seeds. A ship flew over and fired some sort of beam over to London. We saw a massive explosion and we both ran inside, my father took out a double barreled shotgun and ushered me into the basement.
About 2 days later we heard footsteps and radio chatter above us. My father thought it was the police, so he walked upstairs and all I heard was a door opening and gunfire. Then I remember my fathers body sliding down the basement stairs, our benefactors came into the basement and pushed me against the wall, I was quickly searched and put on a transport truck.
I remember the train ride to City 4, in Germany. It was so long and quiet, the train was packed with people. Some eventually started shouting and one even smashed the train glass. When we arrived at the City I was given a CID number and a suitcase. I was also told my apartment number and shown directions were to go. When I arrived at the apartment I was sharing with a man called John Smithers, he was a silent type who didn't like me much. But then again, no one liked anyone back then. About 1 year into my life in City 4, I was used to the schedule. And I became friends with many Priority Citizens and even one or two Civil Protection units. John was killed one month later as the units searched our apartment and found a shotgun under his bed, John attempted to shoot a unit but they just put a bullet in his chest before he got to shoot.
With no roomate and my reputation destroyed in City 4, I applied to be moved to another city. The new installment in Ukraine, City 18. I heard there the units used better security, and they had better firearms. It definatly seemed safer and better there.
When I arrived at City 18 the same thing happened, I was given an apartment number and directions. On the way to my to my new apartment I saw lots of interesting things, one of which was two officers arresting 4 people, I just took in how discaplined they were. They looked very intimidating with their new masks and weapons. From then on I aspired to work for our benefactors but i did not want Sooo much danger so i hear about the Nexus Commander's So i went to the a Unit and asked him to get trained and become a Nexus Commander

/it The officer next to me says "Move Along!" And flips on his stunstick
/me "Alright, im moving..." I walk out of the line and instantly open the ration to drink the water inside
/it another citizen walks up behind me "Hows the water?...."
/me I can tell this man is going to cause some trouble so I ignore what he says and walk down the road to a heavily populated area with CCA to avoid the man
/me Once the water is gone I pull out the 60 tokens and put them in my pocket, thats when I feel someone elses hand grab mine and pull away my tokens "Hey!"
/it Its the same man from earlier, he took my tokens and ran off
/me I quickly follow him, trying to keep up, but I get quickly winded and have to stop to breathe, so I lean against the nearest wall
/it A CCA officer who witnessed the incident approaches me "Citizen. Are you alright?"
/me "Yeah, he... *breathes* he took off that way..." I point to the direction he ran too
/it The officer calls in for back up and they go running into the alley way that I pointed towords
/me When I catch my breathe I jog down the same alley way to find the officers to see if they cought the man
/it When I find them, they have the man pressed against a wall tied, the officer I talked to is carrying a large bag and he approaches me "Citizen. What was stolen from you?"
/me "My tokens. Did you find them on him?" I feel somewhat relieved
/it The officer: "Yes. Here you go. You should count it all later. If not all of it is there, contact me. We will investigate."
/me he sets the large bag into my arms and I have the face of total shock and awe "Yes.. sire.. I mean sir.." I stare at the bag, completely dazed by the bag because it is filled to the top with tokens. Much more then what was stolen from me.
/it The officer: "Now get out of here." He waves his stunstick to the exit
/me without thinking, I quickly race to the exit and procede to my apartment
/it I hit the door with my shoulder so hard, it unlocked itself.
/me I poor all of the tokens onto a table. "There are so many... I'm rich!"
/me I then realize what just happend. "Oh my god... I just stole all of this money... its not mine..."
/me And then I realized something else "Wait... who cares?! Im rich!"
/it what I didnt know is that the person on the floor below called in a noise complaint from my cheering. The CCA came into my apartment and confiscated all my tokens that I gained, and they claimed they did it becuase "The UU doesnt like loud mouths like you." My feelings were hurt. But, I snuck 400 tokens into my pocket, so I was still somewhat happy

Character backstory (6 lines at least detailing you character's background. Events, job, family etc and should reflect your skills): Tyler Grupp grew up (that sounds funny) in Canada with his three older brothers and one younger sister. Tyler was a loner during most of his child hood. He never really talked to his family, or had many friends outside of school. He was "that one kid" to everyone. But inside school, Tyler Grupp was extremally successful. His grades were either a B or an A. Nothing lower. His brain was growing, but his muscles werent. He didnt participate in any sports or play any type of game outside with friends. The only strengthe that he had was from chores he did around his house. This rendered him an ability at carrying heavy items and organizing very well.

After his school career ended he got a job as a successful Doctor. Tyler Grupp went down in the top 100 doctors of all time. He was so good infact that other Doctors where he worked were afraid to challenge him at any type of medical situation.

When the combine invaded and started the 7 hour war, Tyler was sent out in the field as a medic. He only served two patients, and they both died. This scarred Tyler and haunts his memories, causing him to try and avoid medical situations. After him and his squad of soldiers were captured by the Combine, they killed the soldiers but spared Tyler because of his unique intelligence and ability to carry heavy items. They sent him to work in City 8. Tyler hasnt seen his family since his senior year in high school and doesnt really care much about it. He suprisingly enjoys his job for the CCA and is as loyal as can be.

Yes. Tyler worked at a hospital where he had to file much paper work. He also served in the military during the 7 hour war as a squad leader and medic.
