Well, this is it.

This was going to happen sooner or later...
When I saw SoTA start to fall prey to drama and flame wars, I devised a plan.
The people here on SoTA are dedicated players, and admire a well developed community with a good Staff.

Well, if you havent noticed, both of those have suffered dramaticly during the past few months. So, when this started to happen, I started to get nervous and worried about the people here. With snake gone to ArmA II, and admins running wild without a boss to keep then in line, I couldnt just watch my home fall apart.

During that same day, I decided I would save these people. Ive been loyal to them so far, why stop now? I created my own little indie community. I re-created a forums for it, and there it sat, for weeks. Once I had created the forum, I only told a few people. D-Lop, Mahunik, Joe, and even Noobstrike. They were ok with it, and had no problems. They werent on board, but it was ok.

Weeks go by, and finaly, the server has cracked. Its every man for themselfs, and people are looking for a new way for a server to be hosted, since Hl2rp has been down for a few days now. So, I told D-Lop and mahunik that I wasnt happy about it. They said they would help me on my new community, and D-Lop quickly began recruiting. I made the rules, set up the forums just like people remembered, and had a staff. By the next day, we had over 20 people willing to join the new community.

In the end, we had recuited almost everyone from SoTA. D-Lop, Mahunik, Noobstrike, Arch, Rainbow flare, gman, spade, jman. You name it, they wanted justice.

So, the reason I make this post, is you Snake. We could never have had such a great leader in the past, and such amazing times. But things went off course when you picked up ArmA. Memories were made, but fun times never last forever.

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for showing us how to RP, and how to build our own community.

And, as a plus, now you dont need to worry about us anymore. We can take care of ourselfs.

Although I only met snake once on the server I would like to thank him for hosting and making SoTA our home. I really wish I could of seen him more on the server, but lately things have gotten out of hand. For 2 months now I remained quiet about the small community diablo made and its time to move on. So everyone's calling it quits? Kay, guess I'll say my bit. I'm fairly new around this group, but what time I have spent has definitely been fun. The SOTA server will probably be the last HL2RP server that I play on with any regularity between time constraints due to college and the fact that this is the second RP community to have up and died on me. Back to TF2 I go, I guess. See you guys around.

When i got onto this community.. I where a DarkRp Faggot. It was where i learned to PassiveRp and everything... I learned to make an App. I became something for the first time. I met friend's. And now it's going down.. A moment of Silence for SoTA.
