Events, job, family etc and should reflect your skills): i was in denmark when the war began i was an store keeper i myself wasn't awere of the war so when it came to us we wasn't preparet so we lost but i was afraid when we lost so i took to city 18 and some strange people came to me and said ¨Come with us¨ so i did and they took me to the slums i tried to go in there when a stunstick hit me in the back head and when i woke up i was in a strange macine and i found out that it was an brian washer macine and now i am slaved to work for the Universial union

Your RP example are OK, although your backstory needs improvement. It should show personality and where he originates from. You said he is "very very nice" How so? Was he helpful to the CCA? Was he cooperative? Did he perhaps report people hiding from them? Improve your backstory, and apply again in two days.

Your RP example first off lack a bit of detail. What was the citizen doing to seem suspcious? How did you locate his room? Was there a nametag on the door? Also, the time segments of detainment are "Cycles" Not "Shifts". He would be in there much longer than 3 for admitted murder and dealing contraband. Your examples hint at metagame and powergame in your actions. Your backstory has little effort in it, and you streched it into 5 lines, You didn't show personality, where you came from, or any of this, and it lacks grammar/spelling etc.

Jackson Paine use to live in a place called "New Orleans". He had a pretty rough childhood, as he was deep in poverty. He had family like his father but he was shot and killed in a drive-by. His mom left when he was 12 years old. He had no brothers or sisters. He had no idea if he had any grandparents or cousins or aunts or uncles. He was now alone for 5 years until the combine came in and found Jackson in a broke-down house up north in the state. He was first taken to City 13 at age 17 he lived there for 2 years and then when the alarms sounded of the rebellion he was shipped off to City 18, where he now lives with a couple of choices, either starve and find ways out of the city or join the combine, the first two were rough as he tried it for 2 years but now he has grown tired of it, and now hes willing to try the last option as a last resort. He hopes that the combine will take him in despite the fact that hes colored.

We need more CCA's. Its really starting to become apparent to me that not many CCA's get online during the day.

But what is better? A bunch of 05s that can't do their job. Or a smaller bunch of 05s that can RP correctly?

We're not going to accept applications because we need more people, it will go really, hideously, terrifically and stupendously BAD.

I would suggest that people spend more time on their app, look at other people's app and look AT THEIR WRITING STYLE. ie, do not copy.

Character backstory (6 lines at least detailing you character's background. Events, job, family etc and should reflect your skills): Bailey was born and raised in West Limerick, he was always playing cops and robbers in the playground where he spent most of his days, or playing basketball outside of his school. One day he got into a fight with a few guys who were up to no good, they'd been making trouble in the neighbourhood, Bailey had always aspired to become some sort of officer of the law so he confronted the boys in an attempt to make them stop, but it just led to conflict and Baileys mother ended up sending him to live with his Aunt and Uncle in Englend.

Baileys aunt and uncle were wealthy, so he received an amazing education and left school with straight a's, as did his cousins, Carlton, Hillary and Ashley. Scott's uncle was an attorney, so naturally he was able to get into Law School pretty easily. Around the same time that Bailey had graduated the BMI had just happened, over the coming months there were reports of strange 'Portal Storms' all over the world. Shortly after the Seven Hour War began, strange creatures had infested the earth and they were killing anything and anyone in their path.

Bailey tried to hide, to find his family, but it was too late. By the time the creatures had stopped, over 80% of the human race had been slaughtered and instead of creatures, there were huge, intimidating men, if you can call them that. They spoke with a metallic shrill and if you didn't obey them you'd get a thwack across the head with a some sort of huge Taser, or worse. Most of the earth had been destroyed, places like America were just piles of rubble and all that was left standing were cities approved by the 'Universal Union'.

In the coming months Bailey was transferred to a UU approved city in eastern europe, City 18. Upon arrival Bailey was assigned a room in the 45ths, he was a generally quiet person and had very little friends, upon those friends was a girl named Charlotte Blaze, she was a loyalist and informed Bailey about the combine and how they're here to help instead of destroy, Bailey was intrigued, he monitored the plaza from his apartment window and came to the decision that she was right.

From then on Bailey was a loyalist, performing good deeds for the Union and assisting the people in any way he could, but Bailey ambition to become a member of the law still burned inside of him, but Bailey had no idea how to become a member of the union.

Me: Crap I'm guarding the district six checkpoint there's no way i can get more ammo.
/me Picks up his radio.
Me: Radios in: If there's anyone in the Nexus can you please bring me two pistol ammo boxes. I'm at the district six checkpoint.
/it A unit approaches you and appears to be holding a box full of ammo.
/it The unit extends his arms waiting for you to take the ammo.
/me Takes the ammo gladly.
Me: Thank you very much. Now the only thing getting through here will be bodies!

/it The unit walks away laughing.
/it You are guarding the checkpoint when suddenly you hear the request device crackly to life and a random citizen's voice is saying: "Help, someone help! A man just broke into my apartment and is holding a gun to my head! It's apartment three, Hurry!"

/it The unit takes your position as you run off towards the apartments.

Me: Wow, you know you could have just beaten him and took him in for interrogation.

/it Both the units laugh and the citizen that made the call laughs nervously along with them.

/me thinks about how he has to go back and guard the boring district six checkpoint.
Me: You know what, that 05 i got guarding the checkpoint isn't that bad. How bout we go intimidate some citizens.
/it As you walk out of the apartments you notice someone standing on the edge of the bridge.
Me: Hey you get down from there!
Citizen: No! I can't take this anymore! You guys have made my life hell, i'd rather die then live another day in this god awful place!
/me thinks to himself how bad it would be if he had a suicide on his hands.
Me: (whispering to the other unit) Go up there and knock him out with you're stun stick, i'll stay down here to catch him.
/it As the man on the bridge has his eyes closed for a brief second the other unit runs back into the apartment.
Me: Now it may be true that we haven't been the nicest of people, but if you come down i promise you that we will be very understand from here on out.
Citizen: NO! I don't believe anything you say! You can't talk me out of this.
/me thinks to himself, huh well then i hope i can catch this guy.
/it you see the other unit sneak up behind the person, raise and stun stick and ZAP, the sound of the electric end making contact with the man.
/it As the man starts to fall you get ready for the catch.
Me: Worst case scenario: I don't catch him and i get fired and possibly killed. Best case scenario... I get promoted!
/me catches the citizen.
/it There is a loud thud as the unit catches the citizen and you can hear some bones break.
/me yells up to the other unit.
Me: Come down here and help me get this guy into a cell!
/me talking to himself "We've got a long day ahead of us with this one."
/me laughs as he and the other unit carry the unconscious broken man towards the black walls of the Nexus.

Well, I grew up in Kansas City with my folks. They were great, I really loved spending time with them. We had a pretty good house, nice car, nice things. We weren't rich at all though. I got A's and B's in school, that made my parents so proud. I loved it when they smiled. The best thing is is that they always stayed together, even though they had some fights here and there they stuck with it. Things were great until i moved away to go to college. Granted it was in the state so i could visit my folks relatively easy but still, i'd never been away from them like that before. You could tell it was having an effect on them as well. We made it through though. Throughout college I took up martial arts to fill in the void of not being able to see my parents. I wasn't the best at it but i could defend myself pretty well if i absolutely had to. A few years later i graduated college with a degree in business. You see, all my life I've wanted to be a big CEO, I've always looked up to them actually. I was on my way to making my dream a reality. Unfortunately I had to start out working a crummy desk job in an office complex. Apparently we were working for some company called Black Mesa. Stupid name if you ask me. I didn't complain though, I new that i could exceed the expectations people had of me and eventually climb that ladder to the top. Buuuuuuut it didn't really work out like that. A few months after i had been working there these... things, i'm not really sure what they are, they're human like but they aren't from earth. Anyways they invaded our planet and captured anyone they came across. Me as well as everyone that was working in the same building were shipped here to city 18. It was a horrible trip. We were all scrunched together in this strange looking truck. I'm not sure how far we traveled but when we got there these... people i guess you could call them had already sealed off the city, and in the center was a horrific black tower. I've learned to ignore it though so it's not a bit deal any more. Anyways, a few weeks later i got a letter from my parents, to this day I still don't know why the combine aloud me to receive it, they told me that they were living in City 14 and were safe. After that letter I was the happiest person alive. Now your probably thinking i'm crazy for wanting to join the ranks of these horrible people but you know what, I've seen what they do to the rebels and anti-citizens. So I've decided that i'm going to do whatever it takes to get on their good side. Character backstory (6 lines at least detailing you character's background. Events, job, family etc and should reflect your skills):

Krystal was split off from the only family she knew, Amber (cousin) when she was first brought into City 18. She doesn't know what happened to her, and assumed the combine killed her. She was rebellious at first, learning how to use pistols and how to react while in combat. But after being beaten and re-educated, and being 4 points away from amputation, she's rethinking her path she's choosing. She's slowly becoming more and more brainwashed by the Combine.

Yes, I've gotten points for audio violation and running. But I've been re-educated and my record is now clean for doing good deeds.

I have a great idea for my character's Roleplay, and I think it would be an awesome idea if she became a CP, due to her already being known as someone who causes trouble.
